► Each pupil receives a bespoke learning package, with the curriculum tailored to their specific needs and gaps in learning.
► Every space is a learning opportunity, with staff subtly adding in learning within the pupil’s interest led activity time.
► Offering English, Maths and Science to close gaps through lost learning or forgotten learning in order to reach age or life appropriate milestones.
► We also offer a range of non-core subjects, including Humanities, Creativity, Technological, PSHE, RSE, and ICT, embedding English and Maths within these.
► Our cleverly designed curriculum plan allows for flexibility and cross-curricular links.
► For our younger pupils, we offer a play-based curriculum, where learning and social communication skills are taught informally, usually through a themed approach depending on the interest of the child.
► Through the centre there are a number of aids to allow pupils to access education and meet their needs including specialist seating, writing aids, communication boards, visual timetables, specific aromatherapies throughout the building and many more.
► Each pupil will receive an individualised learning package, with the courses offered tailored to their specific needs and gaps in learning or life skills.

► At Tree of Life we pride ourselves on offering practical training, qualifications and life skills for our SEND pupils to go on to live a happy, independent and fulfilled life with future aspirations.
► Each pupil will receive sensory and holistic therapies.
► Holistic interventions include Rebound Therapy, Peer massage, dance and movement therapy, sensory circuits, sensory diet plans and meditation.
► These therapies are specifically designed to meet each pupils needs, and are designed to develop the pupils' emotional and social skills, as well as re-regulating pupils and reducing cortisone levels.
► Each room has been carefully designed to give the fullest sensory experience possible and has specialist and specific equipment for positive and targeted sensory inputs.
► Pupils and their families will receive ongoing support according to their needs.
► During their time pupils will complete pastoral activities as part of their package, specific to their social, emotional and mental health needs.
► Liaising with other agencies, charities and professionals, when support is required.
► Signposting parents and carers to external support, allowing for a whole family targeted approach to enable a comprehensive support for the pupil.
► Offering Peer Massage to reduce stress, anxiety and mood changes. In addition this will increase cognitive learning capacity and reduce harmful levels of cortisone.
► Catherine is also a trained Pain2go therapist, and therapeutic art leader, and combines these skills to deliver an innovative PSHE curriculum with mental health development.
